This long text at the bottom of the page is necessary to optimize the site and therefore it will be written about a lot of things that are related to my art. You can find all the important information about buying, ordering and shipping in a short form in the about section.
My real name is Pavel Kandyba, I am an artist under the pseudonym MasterOgon, living in Kyiv, Ukraine. My favorite art themes are space, sci fi, cyberpunk, ancient aliens. I was interested in these things from an early age, and also loved to draw, which ultimately determined my choice of profession. I graduated from the Kiev Art University of Boychuk and for a long time I was engaged in wall painting, painting on canvas and other types of painting to order. In this work, I often had to copy famous art and draw from a photo. It helped me improve my skills and learn different styles of painting. On this site you can only see my artworks that I am creating now, and if you want to see what I did before, you can visit my first site.
Art, for me, is, first of all, a means of communication, a way to show others my vision of the world and visualize ideas that are interesting to me. I am very interested in science and technology, but spiritual knowledge is just as important to me. Therefore, in my art, very often topics such as sci fi, cyberpunk and astronautics are closely intertwined with the spiritual. I really like the old sci fi and retro futurism with its inherent romanticism and philosophical search for the meaning of life, which significantly influenced me as an artist, along with dystopian ideas and cyberpunk. Among the sources of my inspiration, in addition to the main one, which is the world around us, there are scientific articles and ancient religious texts. I want to see and show a whole picture of the world. I very rarely try to create any realistic sci-fi concept, as well as just beautiful art in the style of cyberpunk or sci fi. I like to look for answers to existential questions. I often think for a very long time before I draw something, and for me it is important that the art is meaningful and has some kind of message, or that it can reveal the truth that is hidden, but that you want to know.
A significant part of my art is devoted to ancient aliens. I always try to keep an open mind to such ideas, carefully weighing the facts before believing whether it is true or not. And more than once I had to reject what I believed in. But as for the ancient aliens, I am absolutely sure that this is an integral part of our history, because I had a spiritual experience that I received as a child, even before I knew about it. In all likelihood, this experience has determined what I do now. It was the most powerful experience of my life, and perhaps the most important thing I have to say through my art.
I was about 8 years old when I caught a bad cold in the winter and started having visions. Then, I still could not understand their meaning, and for me it was something incomprehensible and terrible, completely out of my head. Only many years later, collecting puzzle pieces and comparing what I saw with new knowledge, I came to understand what I saw. But even now, much of that remains a mystery to me.
These visions were truly apocalyptic. First, I saw a flood that covered the entire Earth. I don't remember its beginning, just a fading red light on the horizon as a memory of the past. And, after that, I saw myself floating in the endless gloomy ocean, under a dark gray sky, among countless dead people. And everything I knew and loved was gone. I woke up from this nightmare, but I was so bad that I fell back. Now I saw myself in some strange happy world, where there was a lot of shallow water, red-yellow light and a dark sky like a sunset.
I felt good there, but I could not get rid of the feeling of a heavy weight, pressing harder and harder on me, until it became such that it crushed me. And I realized that in some incredible way I had to lift it, like an atlas holding the earth. And then I began to grow, turning into a giant, until I ended up in space. Perhaps I woke up, but I could hardly distinguish reality from dream. I was in space and at home at the same time, and all this time I was not left with an unbearably depressing feeling of the inevitability of some kind of catastrophe coming from space, which would destroy all life, and to which nothing could be countered. But I didn't know the reason for this. I just cried trying to understand the meaning that kept running away. I saw only the image of an impossibly huge boulder in the dark. Then I saw what looked like a huge asteroid in space, or land without water, a lifeless, irregularly shaped rock the size of a planet.
And then I was in total darkness. I knew I was in space, far from Earth, outside the solar system where the sun didn't shine. And I knew that something I feared was approaching out of the darkness. I saw a dim red light in the darkness. At first I could not see anything, but then it got closer and I saw amazing and at the same time frightening very complex luminous branches in the gaps of the clouds below me. Then I realized that I was in the orbit of a huge planet, similar to a dark star. It was covered in an incredible amount of glowing red veins, the light of which reflected off translucent dust-like clouds and dimly illuminated the bleak red-brown desert landscape. It was very different from Earth, but it seemed very animated, and there was a very strong energy coming from it. It was completely incomprehensible and incomparable for me then, just causing horror. And it was so realistic that at that moment I already thought that I had died and ended up in some kind of cosmic hell. I didn’t even feel like myself anymore, as if my personality had been completely erased, and only when this state seemed to have reached its limit, some kind of force pulled me out of there in a long, thin spiral in which my life flashed before my eyes.
I was in the solar system and saw the earth as a beautiful blooming garden. It was unbearable for me to know that all this would not be. Then I felt an incredible love for our world and everything in it, and this completely changed everything. I saw something solemn in the solar system, like a parade of planets and an event that cancels everything bad. I realized something important and I just knew that I should tell everyone about everything and then everything will be fine. I found myself in my room and rushed around with this thought for some time until, in the end, I woke up and realized that it was hard for me to even move.
And when I woke up, I forgot what was most important. I still had the feeling that I saw something that I always knew about, but wanted to forget, and thanks to the vision, I woke up and realized the terrible reality. But it was something so global and terrible that for the next years I just tried to forget it as a terrible obsession. And only then, many years later, I began to recognize fragments of my dream in the images of popular culture, which led me to the topic of UFOs and ancient aliens. When I read Zecharia Sitchin's books about ancient astronauts, I was amazed at how much his description of the Anunnaki planet Nibiru matched what I had seen. For me, it became irrefutable proof that I saw something that I became aware of only later. But, nevertheless, this proof is only for me. They cannot support either Sitchin's ideas or the scientific hypothesis of the ninth planet. But I can talk about it on a spiritual level, through my art, depicting ancient aliens and the events associated with them, which are described in the bible and legends. At the same time, in my work I do not focus only on the past, but relate it to what is happening now and try to look into the future.
I, like others, am trying to find the truth and I am very happy to find like-minded people in this when I post my art somewhere on social networks. I didn't make so many friends when I was painting conventional art. Whenever you buy or show a painting in person or just like and comment on increasing the rating of publications, you support me not only in material terms. You give me the opportunity to draw more exactly the kind of art that I want to draw and this gives me true meaning. Thank you for that.
