Glory to the Lord on Mount Sinai.

And then He said: You cannot see My face, because a man cannot see Me and remain alive.
And the Lord said, Here is my place; stand on this rock; when my glory passes, I will set you in a cleft of the rock, and I will cover you with my hand until I have passed through; and when I remove my hand, you will see me from behind, but my face will not be seen.
